Laura Smulders joins theCOMMENCAL BMX PROJECT!

The 29-year-old Dutch rider, five-time UCI BMX Racing World Cup Champion (2016,2017,2018,2019 & 2022),2018 World Champion and Bronze medalist at the 2012 London Olympics, joins Sylvain André on a COMMENCAL BMX.

Laura has her sights set on the 2023 UCI BMX Race season and her preparation for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Between training sessions and competitions, Laura will also participate inthe development of our future BMX bike. Here at COMMENCAL, we want to offer our vision of whata 20-inch aluminium race bikeshould be, getting 'back to basics' since that's where Max Commencal started his adventure in the world of bicycles...

The whole team welcomes Laura, who is flying to the United States at the end of February for Nationals. Forher first race in COMMENCAL colourswe’ll see her in Oldsmar, Florida, for the Gator USA Nationals (24-26 February). Laura will then continue with the World Cup season 3-4 June in Sakarya, Turkey.
